With the recent conclusion of the Demon Slayeranime’s fourth and final television anime season, fans eagerly discuss the series’ ultimate villain, Muzan Kibutsuji. Following a menacing walk into the Corps’ headquarters before transporting himself and the Hashira to the Infinity Castle, fans are more eager than ever for the anime’s film trilogy finale.
Likewise, Demon Slayerfans eagerly discuss what Muzan’s true strength could be like and just how badly Tanjiro Kamada and the Hashira will struggle to defeat him. While it’s certain that Tanjiro and co have a major battle looming overhead, some general anime characters could deal with Muzan with little to no effort invested.
Giorno Giovanna, Satoru Gojo, and more could defeat Demon Slayer’sMuzan Kibutsuji without even trying
1) Giorno Giovanna (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind)

WithGolden Experience Requiemunlocked, Giorno Giovanna would invest little to no energy or effort in defeating Demon Slayer’sMuzan Kibutsuji. Its Return To Zero ability is already more than powerful enough to invalidate any and all attacks Muzan could reasonably make on Giorno, somewhat cementing victory off the bat.
However, a truly effortless victory lies inthe Death Loop. In case Giorno is able to kill Muzan or get him to near death even once. Then, he can activate the ability and put Muzan into a new “reality” where he experiences neverending death after death on an infinite scale. Resultantly, if Giorno can put in a modicum of effort in the beginning, he can quickly and easily deal with Muzan.
2) Simon (Gurren Lagann)

One of the biggest reasons Demon Slayer’sMuzan Kibutsujiis such a tricky opponent stems from his many abilities and powers. However, even the most powerful ant is still, to a human, a simple bug, easily dealt with by stepping on it and brushing it to the side thereafter.
In this way,Gurren Lagann’sSimon can do the same to Muzan when utilizing the end-of-series Super Galaxy Gurren Lagann form. The fully transformed machine is said to be about half the size of Earth. Even at the largest form Muzan takes in the series, it’s laughably simple for Simon just to find the general landmass where Muzan is located and squash him like a bug with a single step.
3) Sasuke Uchiha (Naruto)

Naruto’sSasuke Uchihamarks the first of these entries that would, admittedly, require a little bit of effort but nothing incredibly strenuous to defeat Demon Slayer’s Muzan. Likewise, one of Muzan's most difficult abilities to counter is his regeneration, which far surpasses a normal demon's.
Yet Sasuke possesses anability called Amaterasu, which launches a black flame at a target that won’t extinguish until it has fully consumed whatever it’s burning. With this in mind, Sasuke can simply blanket Muzan’s entire body with Amaterasu. At a minimum, this should strain Muzan’s regeneration enough to the point where he can’t reasonably fight anymore, and at best, it could lead to Muzan’s true death.
4) Saitama (One Punch Man)

One of the greatest strengths One Punch Man’sSaitama boasts in any hypothetical matchup is that he has thepower of parodyon his side. Designed to be a parody of characters like Dragon Ball’s Son Goku, who always seems to win, Saitama’s ridiculous strength results in him always being victorious, no matter who he’s up against.
With this in mind, it’s truly difficult to argue anything but his absolute and relatively effortless victory over Demon Slayer’sMuzan.
5) Griffith (Berserk)

One of Berserk’s Griffith’s greatest strengths is his status as a member of the God Hand. This lets him call upon godly powers and levels of strength, which he has been shown using multiple times in the series with incredible success.
One of the most notable is his role in the defeat ofEmperor Ganishka in his finaleldritch-horror-like form, both in the actual moment of Ganishka’s death and in the events that led up to it.
While Demon Slayer’sMuzan represents the pinnacle of one of the most feared folklore entities in Japan and worldwide, asserting his powers can stand up to a literal god is difficult. With this in mind, Griffith almost certainly takes home the gold here and does so without breaking a sweat as he is so often seen doing in Berserkafter his ascendance.
6) Satoru Gojo (Jujutsu Kaisen)

Jujutsu Kaisen’sSatoru Gojois undoubtedly one of the most overpowered anime characters of all time. His skill set and abilities leave little to no chinks in his armor, which can be manipulated or exploited, and his experience in battle further hones him into an almost invincible spear.
Likewise, Demon Slayer’sMuzan stands little to no chance in an actual fight. However, Gojo could effortlessly defeat Muzan by sneakily abusing his powers. After trapping Muzan in Unlimited Void, Gojo can simply leverage his effectively infinite Cursed Energy to keep Muzan trapped within the Domain until sunrise. From here, he can simply deactivate the Domain Expansion and watch Muzan burn to a crisp.
7) Denji (Chainsaw Man)

While Chainsaw Man’sDenji is one of the more suspect entries on this list, there is nevertheless a path for him to defeat Muzan relatively effortlessly. As established in the series, Denji can drink Devil's blood with little to no effect because he is alreadya Hybrid.
Likewise, it can be presumed that Muzan’s Demon blood would have little to no effect either. This would allow Denji to keep up with Muzan’s endurance by continuously drinking his foe’s blood as he’s able.
However, the ultimate path to victory lies in Denji’s erasure powers. By continuously eating pieces and chunks of Muzan throughout the battle, Denji should be capable of completely erasing the Demon Slayervillain from existence. While not quite as effortlessly as others on this list, this does provide Denji with a relatively simple and easy way of defeating Muzan.
8) Alucard (Hellsing)

As the King of Vampires, Hellsing’sAlucard boasts several powers and abilities that would make it truly effortless to defeat Demon Slayer’sMuzan. Level Zero of the Hellsing Control Art Restriction System serves as the best example of how easily this could be done. Essentially, all of Alucard’s typical vampiric powers are honed to the highest quality possible, making him an almost invincible enemy and a truly undeterrable threat.
However, even before that, two key powers stood out as a means of effortlessly defeating Muzan. The first is his hemokinesis, which could essentially let him drain Muzan’s body of its blood, or the life source of hisdemonic powers, after ripping him apart. The second is his hematophagy, which would allow him to consume this raw blood of Muzan’s then and prevent it from ever returning to him, effectively defeating him likewise.
9) Lelouch vi Britannia (Code Geass)

Code Geass’Lelouch vi Britanniais a unique and resultantly straightforward entry on this list by nature of what his Geass powers do. Lelouch can use his Geass to command anyone he makes eye contact with to do anything he wants. Likewise, the second Demon Slayer’sMuzan falls under the Geass’ control, and there’s essentially nothing he can do to disobey Lelouch’s orders, which could effortlessly result in Muzan’s defeat.
10) Light Yagami (Death Note)

Death Note’sLight Yagamiis also a particularly interesting case here, as he is a normal and regular human by all accounts. He has no super strength or skills to boast of and isn’t even seen fighting in any meaningful physical manner at any point during the story. Likewise, if the two were to go into a purely physical fight, Muzan would emerge victorious.
However, Light has the Death Note on his side, meaning all he’d need is to discover the full name of Demon Slayer’sfinal boss and 10 seconds to write it down and a cause of death. From here, he’d simply need to find a way to survive for 40 seconds, and if capable of doing so, he’d have defeated Muzan by doing little more than raising a hand and running away.
In summation
While Demon Slayer’sMuzan Kibutsuji is a force to be reckoned with in his own series, it’s unfortunately clear that his powers don’t quite match up to the rest of anime’s peaks. Nevertheless, Demon Slayer’sultimate villain remains a legitimate threat, even if some anime characters could effortlessly deal with him.
